March glossybox 2013.

March 12, 2013

I've been receiving Glossyboxes for quite a number of months now, and while I'm not always blown away by the contents, there have been some gems along the way. This months box (City Chic) is pretty good in my opinion and from other reviews I've seen, the products received are mostly the same.

Nails Inc St James nail polish: I actually don't own a red like this so I'm pleased with the shade, it leans pink with a very slight shimmer through it.

Elizabeth Arden fragrance free Eight Hour Cream: This is a product I've always wanted to try and I already love it. It's made my lips feel so soft and a little bit goes a long way. Not quite sure about the fragrance free aspect though, I can still smell something and it's quite unique.

Jelly Pong Pong lip blush in Marshmallow Pink: This shade is described as a soft petal pink, and adds a really nice stain to the lips. It's moisturising and the brand are cruelty free. Also it doesn't have that terrible menthol scent that the Revlon lip stains have (still love you Revlon).

Juicy Couture Couture La La: Like most people, I'm not that impressed by little perfume samples being included. This isn't really my kind of scent, I'm fussy when it comes to floral ones. I will say I love Juicy Couture's tacky perfume bottles though.

Tresemme salon finish extra hold hairspray: Okay, not the most exciting but it's a cute size and the hairspray I have at the moment is pretty crap so I'm looking forward to trying it.

Hope you all enjoyed this post even if you don't currently subscribe. Maybe it's given you ideas of products you'd like to try out :)

  1. I'm always tempted by glossybox but can't be bothered to spend the money on subscribing to them - I guess it's a good way of finding out about and trying new products though.

  3. The little book that came with it is so sweet! I love 8 hour cream - it seems from the few reviews I've read that a lot of people are first timers with their Glossybox this month, so that's definitely a plus as everyone should know about this classic beauty product :) xx
