On Wednesdays we wear black.

Jeans | Topshop
Boots & necklace | H&M

So I couldn't resist something with a Mean Girls reference on it, and black is something I wear the majority of the time just had to be done. I recently rediscovered these jeans as they were at the back of my wardrobe and I feel bad for forgetting about them as they're so pretty. They're the "Leigh" style which I don't usually wear, I prefer the "Jamie's", but the fit is really good. Will definitely need to wear them with something more light coloured on top for more of a spring/summer feel :)

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately, last week I was in London for a holiday and of course I didn't have my laptop with me but I did take a lot of photos (you'll have seen some already if you follow my instagram). I look forward to putting some of them up, I think I'll split it into two posts as I took so many!

Remember guys, don't have sex. Cause you will get pregnant. And die. xo

Ghost walk.

Healthy breakfasts have been my obsession lately. Most days I have the above bowl of gluten free cereal which includes lots of seeds, topped with goji berries, some cacao nibs, raspberries or blueberries, and some natural coyo. I'm not completely sticking to a gluten free diet as I haven't been diagnosed as intolerant, I just think I'm a bit sensitive to it so for main meals will try to avoid it some of the time. Have been drinking lots of peppermint tea as well, in cute mugs of course.

Went for a drive/walk to an area I hadn't been to before, there's just something so perfect about the country air. The purple hat was a new buy from that day, I got it at the Vintage Kilo Sale and just thought it was really sweet. Jacket, jumper & boots are H&M, skirt is Zara, and scarf is Primark.

I baked these "red velvet" brownie slices (ran out of food colouring so they weren't properly red, oops) a little while ago and they were delicious so will get that recipe up soon :)

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday xo

Instagram 022.

Time for a long overdue Instagram catch up :)

Went to see Tom Odell at the Usher Hall with my sister - I'd never been in there before, such a beautiful venue! The gig was of course amazing, and he was supported by two wonderful acts - James Bay & Fryars.

When I found this beauty of a skirt in Topshop. New (fake) glasses, even though I am actually super blind anyway.

Love the detail of this gate at the Botanic Gardens. Cute new dress from H&M.

Food treats, I can never resist Nerds and these are my favourite Nakd bars, so yummy. The Arizona Green tea is one of the prettiest bottles, I can't wait to try it and then put some pretty flowers inside. Dexter and his wonderful tail.

Trippin' on squishees, Primark did gooood. Went to the Bubbles & Burlesque show at the Corn Exchange. Was so happy to find out that my favourite alcoholic drink (Sailor Jerry) was free at the door...not to mention these amazing cups!

Pretty flower lights from Primark. Met up with the lovely blogger Nicole for my first ever visit to Mimi's (I know, shocking since I live here). Got this amazing chocolate coconut cupcake.

Healthy food shopping from Real Foods. My stomach's been feeling awful lately so I've been for blood tests (eurgh) and have decided to sort out my diet because I literally live of vegetarian ready meals haha. This was delicious - millet & brown rice noodles with spinach, broccoli, kale, tomato, sesame seeds & soy sauce.

Went for a walk somewhere I hadn't been before and couldn't resist taking a photo of the pretty daffodils. Another day, another cake - my aunty and I can't resist scones. We. just. can't.

Ready for the farm or something (wearing a shirt I picked up at the Vintage Kilo Sale and H&M jegging type things). The flower lights looking like yellow beams in my cosy corner.

Cute new skirt from H&M ft. frilly ankle socks.

I also haven't had a lot of time for reading blogs lately, so when I get home from work tonight I look forward to catching up on all your lovely posts. Have a great day xo

We were born with sun in our teeth & in our hair.

Cardigan | Vintage
Dress & necklace | H&M
Shoes | Daisy Street

This is one of my favourite cardigans ever, I got it a few years ago from a charity shop and I just love the colour. I don't actually think I own anything else which is a mustard shade. It does look a bit autumnal paired with this dress but I really like it for spring too! I did say in one of my videos that this is one of the comfiest dresses ever to wear, and I still stand by that statement. It's so soft and floaty. I've mostly been wearing it with my Vans as well for an even more casual look.

It's just over a week now until I visit London for a few days with my dad and sister, so if you have any recommendations of areas/shops/food places then throw them at me! I have a list of ideas but would always appreciate your input xo

Mickey Mouse Club.

Top | Primark
Jeggings | River Island
Bag & shoes | Primark

Firstly, let's ignore mama's hips & butt in the first photo. Secondly, let's ignore that I just called myself mama.

Yes, I feel about 10 years old in this outfit but I just love it's adorableness. Having wanted shoes like this for so long (they were my favourite part of primary school uniform) I was so happy to see a cheap pair in Primark. I've had them for a while but have only just started wearing them recently, and let me tell you, not a good idea without socks or tights...ouch! I'm sure they'll get better but for now my heels hate me. Also, already eyeing up a similar (and hopefully comfier) white pair on Asos which I think I may go for....child 4 lyfe.

Hope everyone's having a nice week so far xo
